This and the favourable exchange rates make it very affordable, and an attractive surgery abroad destination. For example, a normal cardiac bypass surgery (CABG) would cost in the region of USD6,000 - USD7,000.
Medical specialists are highly qualified professional, many with qualifications from the UK, Australia and the USA and are supported by well-trained para-medical staff and state-of-the-art, well-equipped and well-staffed private medical centres with extensive diagnostic and therapeutic resources. Most medical staff speak English.
