Gastric band treatment in Goa helps Manchester woman lose weight

Restrictive obesity surgery aims to promote weight loss by restricting the volume of food the stomach is capable of accommodating. Gastric banding achieves this food reduction by through the use of a band placed around the stomach, which reduces the functional size of the stomach to that of an egg.
