Septoplasty (correct deviated septum) in the Czech Republic

My name is David Fitzpatrick.I am 28 and i am from Co.Wicklow, Ireland. The treatment i needed was Septoplasty to correct a deviated septum in my nose. It is a simple and common operation. In Ireland, I was referred by my GP to an ENT Surgeon for an initial cosultation with a 10 month waiting time or informed I could pay privately at a cost of approx €2,000. Through PRAGA MEDICA, i had an appointment with a surgeon within 6 weeks and was offered the operation itself 2 months later for a cost of €800, and in fact the final cost came in under €800. 

The reason I chose Prague is for the high standard of medical treatment available and highly efficient health care system in general. Surprisingly, I later discovered the hospital i attended is even mentioned in the Lonely Planet City Guide to Prague! Whilst recovering, I found there to be plenty to do and see. Prague and Czech Rep has alot of history as does Ireland and so there is plenty of sightseeing. Also one of perks of Prague is that bars and restaurants and eating out is so much cheaper. As is food etc. in supermarkets so staying for a short while need not be expensive.

In all, I have had a truly great experience here in Prague. I have fallen in love with the city of Prague and its people. The medical treatment is top quality, the team behind PRAGA MEDICA were more than helpful whenever i needed them and their assistance was invaluable and i couldn't be more appreciative. I will absolutely use PRAGA MEDICA and Prague for my future medical tourism needs.
