Root canal treatment in Croatia

Croatia flag

Lynne R of Surrey has recently returned from a trip where she had dental treatment in Croatia at Trident.

She told Treatment Abroad that the Internet played a big part in her research. "I surfed the web not just for price, I wanted somewhere that I could travel to easily and cheaply," she said.

"I took the view that if I got there and did not like it, at £75.00 return it would be no big deal."

Lynne had been having a torrid time of things in the UK. She had been prescribed 8 lots of antibiotics, seen an nhs dentist, been to a private dentist and referred to hospital twice in 18 months.

"I was finally assessed and they told me that although the top of my mouth was hurting, it was actually referred pain - so it wasn't actually coming from where I felt it but from bridge that I had when I was 17yrs. I'm 40 now.

"Dr. Goran and Dr. Natasa had me in every day. They took the bridge off and the back tooth was gone. They gave it root canal treatment to build it up. I had a choice to have another bridge put on the weakened tooth or to cap it off and go for implants longer term . The cost was approximately £500 sterling per implant.

"The accommodation was clean, not 5 star. I would have liked a separate front room area and that basically is all I can moan about! "
