Rhinoplasty (nose job) in Prague, Czech Republic

My name is Sally and I chose MediCzech for having rhinoplasty surgery. I wish to share my experience with them for the benefit of those who are considering travelling abroad for treatment.

I hadn’t felt happy about the shape of my nose for some time. I’d had a consultation in England and received a quote in excess of £3,500 for rhinoplasty. That was definitely much more than I was prepared to pay. I then spent a considerable amount of time researching online and shortlisted several overseas providers, one of which was MediCzech. I quickly realised the difference between their approach and everybody else’s – their customer manager was in constant touch with me and was extremely helpful and very accommodating for our (mine and my husband’s) specific needs. I was travelling with my husband and 15 month-old child so we needed to take care of the pram and the rest of our child’s stuff (bed, car seat etc) – nothing was a problem for MediCzech. This, combined with a tag just half of the UK price, made the decision to use MediCzech an easy one.

The clinic is fantastic! Very modern and clean, with friendly staff who speak excellent English. I was operated on by Dr. Satankova, their head plastic surgeon, who is a true professional, as well as being extremely personable. After the operation, I was checked up on by Professor Fried, the head of the clinic. All my consultations were pleasant; they were easy to understand and free of jargon.

We opted to stay at the apartments MediCzech offers in the same building as the clinic and the accommodation was brilliant. Everything was brand new, clean and modern, fantastic value for money! As the clinic is a bit away from the historical centre of Prague, to those who travel with partners who want to enjoy the beauty of the city, I would suggest going for one of the hotels they offer, which is still great value for money compared to what we would have paid in the UK.

Last but not least, we opted for the VIP check-in at the airport when flying home. It cost a bit extra, but was so worth it. It’s very different to the standard airport check-in – it’s a separate building at the airport, where they do your check in and security privately. You wait for the departure in a private luxurious room, and then a car takes you directly to the plane! Not only did I feel like a true VIP, but, I can tell you, it was really relaxing to skip all the airport hassle, especially with the bandage over my nose!

Overall, I was delighted with the entire service that I experienced. Everything was extremely professional and pleasant, and I highly recommend you to choose MediCzech.
