I am so pleased with my new ears.  Just wanted to say that anyone thinking about having their “bat ears” corrected shouldn´t  give it a second thought and have it done at the Wellness Kliniek in Belgium. They were so understanding and anyone with this problem will know exactly what it can do to your confidence. Not so long ago I never would have thought it possible that such a “small” change could have such a positive effect on my life. I feel so confident, even my boss at work has commented upon the new me.   I took time off work, ten days, so I would have time to recover properly as I was told that I would need to wear a bandage for 5 days after surgery. What a transformation, life is great.  All my worries about having the procedure were totally unfounded. The doctor and staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful and can´t fault the information given.

I must admit I was a bit worried not only about the operation itself but also about the actual travelling to the clinic in Belgium. Again, I needn´t have worried. I caught my local train from Reading to St Pancras in London and then caught the Eurostar train where 2 hours later I was in Brussels. From there I changed trains (I don´t speak French/ Flemish but it was easy to find somebody who spoke English to help me work out which platform the train was leaving from) and an hour later I was in Genk. I chose to stay at the Carbon Hotel; I followed the hotel link on their website, which is literally opposite the train station in Genk and only 5 minutes walk from the Wellness Clinic. Plus I got a discount because I was having treatment at the Wellness Kliniek, just quoted the special code on their website. There the staff was very friendly and used to having patients staying with them from the Kliniek, room service was good. The room cost 90 poundsbut I had saved for my treatment and thought I wanted to make a little break out of the experience. You wouldn´t believe the bath in the middle of the room, heaven to pamper yourself. My girlfriend came with me and couldn´t believe it when she saw it. I would be lying if I said that I didn´t have a bit of pain, but hey “no pain no gain”, nothing a bit of rest and the painkillers couldn´t deal with. Would highly recommend the Kliniek , very professional and such high quality throughout .I am even considering going back for more treatment.
